Cometh Down Hessian

It's getting to be that time of year where the weekends mean crowds. It's not quite full blown summer crowds, but if the forecast is decent, then suddenly the invasion is on. You can tell by the obnoxious driving around town, traffic in places that there are never traffic, and of course, the mass amounts of people cruising the boardwalk. It was as if Dog and his family were posing in from the the 7th Street Surf Shop camera when I caught this pic a few years ago.

The line-ups are the same way. Suddenly, spots have twice the number of cars and three times the number of guys in the line-up. Lots of unfamiliar faces. Its always a treat to paddle out with guys who take the whole winter off, but still think they own the break because they surf there all summer.
