One of my favorite single issues of some of the zines I've collected over the years has to be the "Do It Yourself" issue of
Jersey Beat put out by Jim Testa. Inside the pages of JB, everything DIY is gone over from recording a demo tape, to running a distro, to starting your own label. One of the more do-able articles for the average joe hardcore was putting on your own house show. The cover and article are shown below:
