Don't Forget to Breathe

Oxygen Destroyer are the loudest band you've never heard. They are/were a band out of the Lehigh Valley band that was pretty epic in terms of their sound and volume. Their live show was loud as hell and their first release was a three song tape I picked up at Jan's Room. Fill your room with as many speakers as you can, line them all into your laptop and play at the loudest possible volume to get an idea of what these guys were like live. This tape is awesome:

Sit Back and Relax

A bunch of recent releases have popped up that are worth talking about in the coming weeks. The above in the actual cover for tile's seven inch on Limited Appeal Records. It was originally released in a "rejected press" format with just the record, but the pressing was done officially now as well. These are/were limited to 100 while the rejected press was around 96 I think. Heavy, loud, noisey and so good. They have a one-sided LP on the way with an etching done by McStyles aka Eric DeJesus on the other side. I cannot wait to hear it.

New Offering

One of my newer favorite LV bands has been Oxygen Destroyer. They released a killer cassette last March and I was able to catch their set at Jans Room around the same time where they blew me and the others in attendance away in feedback and riffs. Recently, they just released a newer cassette entitled "Offering", which is worth checking out as well. Lots of amps and feedback. Special thanks to Adam for hooking me up with the new cassette.

Oxygen Destroyer live. I should know who took this, but I don't...sorry!
